A new baby lister

Mommy and daddy told me that there is a baby coming. This one is not coming from Target...its in mommy's belly. I am going to have a baby lister. I cannot wait!! I love her already!

Lets see who is paying attention....

19 months.

Next week would be 19 months of trying to give Emma a sibling. 19 months. We started trying in hopes that they would be at least 18 months apart. Now, they will be over 3 years, if and when it ever happens. It breaks my heart on how hard it has been. A roller coaster to say the least. She has been asking for a baby bruvver...so I take her to Target and we buy one. I wish it were that easy. It took 4 years to get Emma...and we were blessed with the most perfect child...so I do not mind waiting... a few months more. Years, no. It will happen. I know it will and when it does...we will have the second most perfect baby in the world.

BUT...if one more freaking person asks me "when we are having another?" or "why haven't you had another one by now?" I will kick them in the teeth then turn them around and kick them in the butt.

Down on the farm..........

Emmers went to the farm today with her cousin Robert, who is also leaving..hmm..hope my baby doesn't get a complex.
They had fun feeding the cows, donkeys, horses and llamas. They ran around playing and even rode the ponies, Ems fave thing to do there.
Capped the day off by playing on Ems turf...first time she has had a little person on her turf...she did great! No fights. She shared everything...thats my girl!!

SO LONG...FAREWELL..

In a few short weeks, Not only is my sister moving, but my best friend. We are 7 years apart..but it seems like we are twins. I already miss her. Landon, her son, is 2.5 months older than Emma. They are very close as well. We are going to save our pennies to go visit them in Denver.

Bye Jen Jen, Landon and Landry. We love you and miss you so much already!!!

Moments like these are going to make saying goodbye that much harder.

It's Okay....

Emma is into pretend play now. I love it. Sometimes she is Princess Atta from Bugs Life. Other times Hannah Montana. The other night she was a Dr. Here she is torturing...err..playing Dr with me. You can hear her ask me if I have an owie..then tell me "Its okay. Im a dr."







On top of imaginary play...she is now getting dressed like a big girl all by herself...Bitter sweet....She is growing up waaaay too fast!

WOW!

So..Jon and I thought we could keep up on this blogging thing...but..yeah FAIL!!

Since we have family moving out of state *sniff sniff*..maybe that will motivate me to post about once a week.

Busy Busy

Jon and I have been busy this week, so we have not had a chance to post anything new.

Last Saturday we went out to the Getty. My first time there. It was amazing!! I just sat back and was overwhelmed by all the artwork. Emma loved running around. She was napping in her stroller when we walked through the garden, so she did not get to enjoy it. That just means we will have to go back!!

Fetch

Everyone enjoys a fun game of fetch....especially when it involves a really cute kid chasing suglasses.
Yesterday we went to the Getty to celebrate Aunt Ginna's birthday (aka aunt chica).
Here is some video of a game of fetch...this went on for awhile. I guess at the age of 20 months...its big fun!

Starting over....

Its been almost a year...can you believe it..that means Emma is almost 2, since we started this blog.
Since our family packed up and headed north, we decided to start the blog up again to keep the family up to date.
Jon and I will both be making appearances from time to time.
Cannot wait to share our adventures with everyone! We go on many outings so get ready!!

I dare you to come on in and live in Emma' World with us... after all..It is her world...we just live in it!!

HALLOWEEN

Emma had a busy Halloween. She had a parade at school to start the day, then she headed to my work to visit. She greeted everyone and posed for a few pics.

After, we went to great grammys to go trick or treating with her cousins. She loves them so much!! She went to a few houses and got candy for Jon..Emma chewed on a few wrapped bars, but no sweets for her!! I am hoping she doesn't get my sweet tooth! After going up and down the street, we packed up and headed to the festival at Nanas church. Em played a few games and danced. As soon as her little head hit the carseat, she fell asleep. What a busy day!! I cannot wait for next year!!

Back at school!!!

Yay!! Em is now longer sick-faced and she is back at school!! She was really excited about going back. She clapped when she saw where she was. That makes me happy, at least I know they treat her well!!

Tomorrow is her first halloween!!! She will be going to school in the AM, doing a parade at the Senior home, her great grandma Lamson lives there-but is currently in a fully assisted nursing home due to illness. I am sad that she will not be there to see Em in the parade, she loves her.

Jon, Em and I will all be matching on Friday...it took some convincing Jon, but he agreed to partially dress up...stay tuned for those pics :)

Oh well, back to work for me....

FALL!!

I love this time of year!!! I just wished I lived in a place that actually had seasons!! (Not enough to move, Jon..Don't get any ideas!!)

Since we don't get the fun fall colors here or the crisp weather..Jon indulged me and let me do an impromptu photoshoot when I found this tree and its beautiful leaves.

Emma was more interested in the leaves, than taking pictures :). She loved when daddy would throw them in the air. After the shoot, she had them in her hair, shoes and down her shirt. She had so much fun playing in the leaves!!

Still sick faced....

Almost better!! Her fever is subsiding and her lil personality is coming back!! She stayed home from school for one more day to get extra cuddles. Today is a treat, her cousin, Landon, will be coming over too. They have so much fun when they are together and they love eachother sooo much.

24 more days 'til Emma is one!!!!

THE FIRST ONE!!!

Finally getting around to doing what I have been wanting to do for over a year now. BLOGGING!!! I am not such a good baby book up-to-date keeper, not very creative in the scrapbooking department, and Emma cannot be in 5 different places at one time...so what better way to keep track of her adventures than through this blog!!!

Welcome to EMMA'S WORLD!!!! I just live in it..she runs the show!!!

Monday, Em woke up with a fever. I left work half day to go home to her. Took her to the Dr. She has bronchitis. Poor baby. I hate when she is sick. But she did say "Doc" and when I asked who was at the dr..she said "Boo" which is Jons name for her.

She is growing up so fast!!
